Senior Loan Officer

Pay:
- $45,000 – $150,000/year (Salary + Commission)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor New Leads in CRM: Regularly monitoring the CRM system for new office leads, ensuring they are promptly followed up on and tracked for progress. Maintain accurate records and provide updates as necessary.
- Follow Up with new Office Leads: Contact company assigned leads the day after sending the fee sheet to ensure they received it, answer any questions, and gather any additional information needed to move the process forward.
- Review Fee Sheets for Accuracy: Conduct a daily review of all fee sheets to verify that they are correct, complete, and up to date, ensuring no discrepancies before they are sent to clients.
- Follow Up with Pre-Approved Clients: Reach out to clients who have been pre-approved for a loan to check on their status, answer any outstanding questions, and keep them informed about the next steps in the process.
- Reach Out to Previously closed clients for potential refinance options: Contact clients who have previously closed with Champions to discuss our $0 closing cost refinancing opportunities, evaluate their current needs, and offer suitable loan options.
Skills Required:
- Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Excellent knowledge base in mortgage industry/familiarity with mortgage guidelines and loan originating process
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role
- Ability to engage clients and provide excellent customer service
- Excellent problem solving skills – ability to think out the box and provide effective solutions to complex loan scenarios
- Ability to be detail orientated, organized and work as a team player
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete tasks on a set deadline based on company’s needs
- Dependable and flexible schedule
- Ability to work in fast paced/high volume environment
Job Requirements (Experience and Education):
- Current and valid NMLS Loan Officer license
- At least ONE year experience working as a licensed loan officer or proven work experience/related training that provide the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities required of the job – must be residential/real estate related loan origination experience
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance or Economics or related filed (preferred but not required)
